This is one from April 4th of this year - right before I went to my hairdresser and told her to royally mess up my hair. And whenever I really want to be mean to myself I look at these because I soooo miss how my hair looked here (just the no bangs, longish, straight, shiny, dark look). So OF COURSE it's the photo that would be pulled up for this tag! Somebody somewhere is laughing at me.....

I'm actually going today for a trim - trying to get it sort of back to this, sort of. Mostly, just growing out my bangs and getting layers cut off as they grow out. It's going to be the same length for awhile but I'm ok with that as long as I get closer to the style I want. Why am I not a bangs person? And why are all the rest of you beautiful girls so perfect looking with bangs? (why do I care so much? ha!) I obsess over hair too much.
I need to go do something productive to make myself feel less vain. Riiiight.
Twilight coming out tomorrow .... so excited, I just love movies made about books. I know, I know, it's not the same. It's really not. But just like with Harry Potter and everything else, I like seeing it up there, so visual and happening right before my eyes. Not as good as my imagination, but still fun.
So this week has been good. My brother, sister in law and new niece (some pics soon!) are in town. Plus our friends Dana, Zach and their son Keeghan are in town. Lots of home cooked meals, playing the Wii (Dana and I rock at boxing... the boys... not so much!) and just catching up. I miss these people pretty much daily. Getting to finally meet my new niece is awesome and she's just so beautiful!
Neil is dehydrating some fresh jerky and the house smells amazing.
Holiday get togethers are coming up fast, trying to juggle things will be a bit easier this year, and it will be nice to be around family and relax.
Gotta go get some school work done..... everyone have a lovely Thursday! Weekend is almost here!
