So, Monday I got nauseous. And everything that comes with nausea. And it continued through Tuesday and on into Wednesday. It was so bad, I couldn't even keep water down.... which is when I got worried about getting dehydrated. So I went up to Walgreens, talked to the woman at the clinic there and she told me to boogie on down to Emergent Care and get some fluids and medication for the nausea.
I've never ever had an iv before. I think the apprehension of it was worse than getting it. It was just so foreign... I'm really not used to health care in that serious of a capacity. And it was so interesting how it all just happened, go in, get the iv, take some meds, and get back to life!
They didn't say much other than I must have had a touch of the stomach flu and it's a good thing I came in because I was getting pretty dehydrated....
In other news!
I finally finally finally got to meet my lovely new niece last night. My brother and his wife rolled in about 12:30 last night and Neil and I woke up promptly to drive out and see them.
That little girl is.... well, she just fills up my heart! Such a sweet blessing.
They are only here for a few days and I'm just trying to get as much time in as I can.
Also - I accidentally locked myself (that's how I'm putting it!) out of my flickr account. A few weeks ago I deleted my old yahoo email/id, because I never used it and the email did nothing but collect spam. It just annoyed me. I didn't even think about it being connected to my flickr account! And I had no idea that by deleteing it I would be deleteing the username and password to get into flickr! Sooo... by going through a bunch of hoops I can get it back. But I kinda need flickr now, pretty much daily. And I feel like being a total bum about it so I went and got a new account.....
so please lovely flickr friends, add me all over again right HERE.
Sorry to be that person - that goes and gets a whole new account, but I have a semi good reason right? That I'm a dummy dum dum?
